3. Each Vascular bundle is conjoint, collateral or bicollateral and open

5. Bundle sheath is absent.
6. No water containing cavity is present.
Monocot Stem:
1. Vascular bundles are scattered in ground tissues.
2. Vascular bundles vary in their size.
3. Each Vascular bundle is conjoint, collateral and closed.
4. Phloem parenchymas are absent.
5. Bundle sheath is developed either partly or completely surrounding the vascular bundle.
6. Water containing cavity is present.
