4. Does not give any idea on origin and evolution of different taxa.
Phylogenetic System:
1. Classification based on natural, evolutionary and genetic relationship among plants.
2. Based on many such characters.
3. Characters chosen have evolutionary significance from primitive to evolved conditions.
4. Gives some idea on origin and evolution of different taxa.
