What are the two differences between Fossil and Living Fossil ?

Fossil

1. Fossils are remains of dead organism in the sedimentary rocks.

2. They provide information for evolution. E.g. Archeopteryx, Eohippus.

Living Fossil:

1. Living fossils are living organism on the earth’ this surface.

2. They remain unchanged since million years hence called living fossils, e.g. Sphenodan, Coelocanth fish.
