Those who live in glass houses do not throw stones at others

It is a well-known fact that finding fault with others is a popular past time of all of us. We sit down in all groups and criticise others for their shortcomings ad lapses. We do forget that we are criticising others for those very faults from which we ourselves are not free. By criticising others without rhyme or reason, we expose ourselves to criticism and condemnation at the hands of others. We must realise that a blind man cannot afford to laugh at other blind man. In the same way, a lame person should not make fun of the lameness of other person. A cock-eyed person must not make fun of another cock eyed person. We all are human beings with several Imperfections and shortcomings. If we ourselves did not have an imperfection then we would be gods.
So we should avoid finding fault with others. Paying back to others in the same coin is the way of the world. Most of the people believe in the policy of tit for tat. Love begets love and criticism begets criticism. Only prophets and holy men of th great merit have the right to criticise others since they do not have anything to lose personally. Besides their criticism does not have any ulterior motives. Ordinary men and women should avoid criticising others. It is always advisable to sweep before our own door. We should do unto others as we wish to be done by them. If we want others to wink at our faults, we should also make it a point not to criticise them. After all those who live in glass houses cannot afford to throw stones at others. They can do so only at their own cost.
